Glassplate negatives..an update..

First of all, thanks for the feedback. Here is a little update. I
"sacrificed" two glassplates. The first turned out to be mysterious:
totally black with a large clear blob in the middle. The camera, a 9*12
plate camera (Fotokor, Russia) from about 1935 proved to be completly
lighttight (sp?) though. The second plate, exposed at the presumed speed
of 30 ASA showed a heavy fog and low contrast. So it seems that Sandor was
rght in assuming a speed and contrast loss due to it's age. Got some
different opinions on the use of benzotriazole. Next time I will apply a
small amount of it, overexpose 1-2 stops, and maybe devellop a bit longer.

Thanks again for the feedback, and yes it's fun to "play" with such old
equipment and materials!
