A few words about Luis:

I don't think it is fair to portray Luis as someone who is selfishly keeping
some secrets to his own. I have mentioned in another posts that businesses do
keep trade secret, and that is very understandable.

But Luis is not even making Fresson color prints, so while he has the
knowledge about the process, he is not keeping his trade secret because of his
financial gain. If it is for that type of gain, he could write another book,
or conduct workshops, or even let people see the Fresson equipment with some
payment.

I think that he might be keeping the secrets because that was part of the
agreement between him and the Fresson family (come on, what do you think? you
think the family would give away their secrets without this promise?) Whether
it was through a verbal agreement, a handshake, or a legal contract, I don't
know, but any reasonable logic would tell me that that must be part of the
agreement.

If he is keeping what he has promised, I think that should be respected, not
critized.

PS: That was my personal opinion. I have no connection with Luis, business or
whatsoever. I don't even know him in person. In the past 2-3 years, we have
exchanged only about 6-7 off-the-list emails, and 2 of them were about
purchasing a book, 2 others were about the he/she discussion. But I just felt
that I wanted to say what I said in this post.
