Hello, Wendy: I use PolaPan 35mm instant (black and white) a lot. It has a
"look" that I am fond of. Though I make negs for pd printing on the PC
from these slides, as a bonus it is easy to enlarge negs directly from the
slide since it is a positive. Tom Millea's platinum prints (an artist I
admire greatly so I hope I spelled his name correctly) are made from negs
enlarged from PolaPan. I think I paid about $250-300 for the processor.
It scratches easily, and is grainy. If you want to try it, send me a roll
and I'll process it and mail it back to you.
