Hello All

It is worth remembering that different papers react in different ways. In
this way bromoil papers are no different from any others. As Eric implies
there has been inflexibility among certain workers that has led to misuse
of particular papers, for example the Kentmere paper, when they have been
given the rough treatment more appropriate for supercoated papers. My own
experience has been that the new bromoil paper from Kentmere gives the best
results in terms of achieving a worthwhile image with the least effort.
When given proper exposure and development and standard treatment the
results from the Kentmere paper are exemplary.

I am little surprised that Eric does not know of any English workers on the
list. I told him about APIS and how it arose at a photo fair last year
when I suggested that he should attend. There are many of us who are
rfeasy to help.
