Larry,

I've used TMX in HC110 quite a bit and get fairly decent results. One
characteristic that I like is that the highlights don't seem to block up. I
have several negatives that appear to be bullet proof, yet when I print them
darker and darker I just keep getting more highlight detail. It's quite
amazing. For alt printing this may not be as useful as it is to the silver
printer, 'cuz that dense negative takes a long time to print in Pt.

The reciprocity characteristics of TMX are also quite nice for those of us
who play in the edge of the light.

Finally, the grain is quite fine (totally of no concern to me at this point,
buy I kind of the security of knowing it's there --or should I say not
there.)

I also have used TMX in a two solution process (using HC110) with good
results. Though, since getting the JOBO I have used TMAX RS, dilluted 1:9
to help control contrasty scenes. It also responded well to David Kachel's
latent image bleaching technique when I tried that.

Can't say much of anything about any of the other developers 'cuz I've not
tried 'em.

Hal
