Larry,

<<<Does anyone else use TMAX films with brontosaurial developers? How
do
you find it works?>>>

I find both TMax sheet films work fine in plain old HC110B, rotary
processed. The TMY shows its characteristic lack of shoulder which would
be a problem with negs meant for silver printing but makes ideal
platinum-ready negatives with a minimum of fuss. TMX has quite a bit of
shoulder developed this way and if you hit it right can produce negs
that "cross over", printing well on soft silver paper as well as
platinum with moderate amounts of contrasting agent. Neither is my
favorite film, but they do work fine.

Back to the main thread, I'm just about to do some testing of PMK pyro
formula with various films, intending to make negs for platinum
printing, and I'd be interested in anyone's success stories doing this
in Jobo Expert Drums. I understand that oxidation can be a problem with
this approach.---Carl
