I would concur in that I find Tri-X more suited to
compression/contraction than T-Max. I have used Rodinal for about 10
years with Tri-X at both 1:50 and 1:75 dilutions and am delighted with
the results. Tri-X has a personality with Rodinal that I just feel
comfortable with. Yes I can get less grain with T-Max but I just prefer
how my images look that are processed in Rodinal
