Oh, but the reason I think about whether phthalocyanine blue is a cyanide
compound (honestly, I am not making this up just to defend myself) is because
one uses that particular blue in tri-color alt. processes, and in at least one
process that I have read about, a strong acid (I forget whether it is sulfuric
or chloric) is used to clear the prints. The author uses black pigment, and I
have been wondering whether it should be a concern if / when I want to try the
process with phthalo blue.

Of course it has just been back in my mind. I am not planning to try it in the
near future. I would check it more carefully if I were to try it, but I
mentioned it just because we were talking about cyanide.
