I have confirmed in tests of a wide range of films and developers that the
FP4 Amidol combination was superior to others in the test including pyro.
In the spirit of the list I was handing on the good news as I have before.
Others tried it and agreed. The amidol FP4 neg gives good tonal range
over the whole of the step wedge which repeats in the print whether of a
step wedge or of an image with a wide tonal range. Try it. . I am just
trying to help others to produce good prints which have detail in the
shadows and the highlights and where the middle tones sing.

If people find that pyro serves their purpose better then fine.
