Just to summarise.

1.Carbon is easy with commecial tissue available from autotype (G 25).

2. It is not much more difficult to make one's own tissue. One only has to
follow the instructions but the instructions need be precise and clear and
present the process in simple stages.

3. To make carbons commercially, either the tissue or the prints, one has
to be consistent and this needs both practice and expertise.

4 There are people who make carbon prints, both monochrome and four
colour, commercially. I can think of at least three. One of whom was at
APIS in Bath and he and another will be giving talks and workshops in
Richmond in the next few months.
