This first letter of many to come is a request for ALL of you who are
interested in coming to Porto, to PLEASE send me confirmation, off-line.
It is important to obtain this information immediately, as our plans
have already been put into action.
If I do not have 50 confirmations by April 15th, it will be extremely
difficult to have the meeting supported by the Potuguese Center for
Photography.
Planned costs, including attendance, beverage breaks and final dinner

If the conference, for any reason does not take place, all money will be
returned minus bank expenses. There is no reason to assume this will
happen I only wish to keep you fully informed.
I also wish to ask the list for suggestions for speakers and topics. I
had earlier sent my initial proposal on the schedule, but have not
received ANY indication other than Terry’s, as to what you thought of
it.
It is necessary we have a variety of people speak about their views and
experience.
