I am new to the group so please excuse any errors.

I would appreciate any advice on the coverage of a single Phillips 125W
e/99/2 Mercury Vapour Lamp. At the moment, the lamp to print distance is
approx.18 inches. On printing 16 x 20 and 20 x 24 negatives, there seems to
be a noticable fall off at the corners, which is not apparant when the neg
is contact printed on to bromide paper using the enlarger as a light
source. The M.V.L. is not housed in a reflector dish and lining the sides
of the unit with silver foil has helped but not overcome the problem
entirely.

Anybody out there know the optimum lamp to print distance for this size print?
The processes involved are V.D.B. and Salt Prints.

Thanks........Tony McLean.
