Many a fine artist (traditional, truely talented ones with brushes, oils
& stretched canvas) say the same of ALL US "wannabe-artist" photographer
types!

I suppose they must be right as their craft is "more origional" than
ours............... not on your bloody nellie if they're only painting
bowls of rotten fruit that nobody likes or cares to buy! It's the end
product that counts, and if the client/customer loves the product who
gives a toss as to how righteous' we the "wannabe artist" feel.

On a personal note: It would be really nice to hear (and see) a little
more disscussion about the final image on this list, a few members have
web pages for us all to see, thanks to them! Maybe some of the more
experienced members could share ideas about what processes work with
what subjects, and how many are making a living shooting what and
selling what type of image etc? I enjoyed reading Kerik Kouklis' posts
about Piro development and being able to see his images first hand at
his web-site, the same went for David Focos' digital negs plus example
prints (and instructions) on the Dick Sullivans web site.
