What is the availability of the LED printers and what is the practicality
and the cost of producing these prints compared say with an Epson Stylus
produced print or an Iris print and how do they compare in appearance.
Which lens based systems are we talking about. We have one hundred and
sixty years to choose from.

Taken all in all that was often a heated, confused and, to me, a not very
helpful discussion.

It is clearly a subject which needs proper and cool consideration. Adam
Lowe will be telling us more at a workshop at Hands-On Pictures on 16 & 17
May where he will show output from the same file to a variety of processes
including four colour carbon and colotype ! This will follow Charles
Berger's workshop on Ultrastable on the previous weekend where both
digital and lens based a systems will be relevant.

As for me I am interested in producing images which look good, will last
and do not cost too much.
