In "How to Make Old-Time Photos," there is a formula for gum bichromate print
where fish glue is added. The author mentioned the formula and then said that
the processing is the same as regular gum bi. My question is what is the
reason for adding this fish glue? What principle are we looking at here? Why
don't we use the simple gum+dichromate mix?
