Old fashioned fish glue does not work well when mending broken fish. Since
it is not water proof the mended fish tend to fall apart as soon as they
are put back in the water. I have sucessfully mended a number of broken fish
with a modern epoxy but lately I have been using crazy glue. You have to
be very careful with this however unless you want to walk around with fish
parts glued to your fingers.
