Wayde,
Sorry about NIST. I quit working just a few years after the name changed,
and I forgot what the new one was when I wrote that note about dichromate.
Also didn't realize that the solution was being sloshed around some carbon
tissue. I worked here in Silicon Valley making thin film recording heads
using Ni/Fe plating baths, so Fe analysis was one of the things we did a
lot.
