Fisk Glue

In looking through my 18th century carpenter's magazines, they comment
that fish glue really was waterproof. So my thought is it's either the
contaminations of the fish (PCBs, etc) or the fact that modern fish glue
is made of of fast growing, genetically engineered, sheltered fish.
What you need is some old growth fish.
