Jim

I have a large supply of both out dated paper and film, it has been
in the freezer but there is still fog present. I have used the Benzotriazole
to eliminate the fog. I use Edwals Liquid Orthozite, it is a combination of
benzotriazole, sodium sulfite and water. They suggest 1/4 oz to 1oz per
quart, Depending on the paper I use as much as 2 oz. The print time
increases by about a half but I get clean highlights. The film, 8X10 HP5,
has an ei of 200, it developed in multigrade paper developev diluted 1:3
with 4oz Liquid Orthozite per gallon. This gives me a good neg. (not
contrasty enough for albumen or printing out paper but close).
I hope this helps.
