"Modern" Fresson

I have seen the term used in recent discussion of the new book (Ansel Adam's
guide to Photography, book 2, although I didn't see the term "modern Fresson"
in the book) and also in the APIS announcement.

What is modern Fresson? Does the term mean 4-color Fresson (same process but
different color pigment, I assume), or does it mean a different, new process
that the family invented, or do some people simply call 4-color pigment prints
from digital negatives "modern Fresson" (in this case I would think it is a
wrong name).

Thanks in advance for any clarification.
