What is the Bloom Index of your pigmented gelatin?
Well, here in the Central Valley of California, nothing ever changes.
Believe me ,nothing ever changes.
Perhaps I exaggerate, but only slightly.
The weather is much the same as on my previous attempt.
Gelatin was 260 Bloom.
Don't you put the pigment/final sandwich under some weight for a few
minutes before development?
Yes, 15 mins. under a 20lb. weight.
And since my posting this morning, I made transfers from the remaining
pigment tissue to sheets of plexiglass.
All ten were made without the slightest problem. They look great.
I assume the previous problems were due to inadequately sized final support
paper, which was pulling air through during the transfer.
Any suggestions for sizing Rives BFK?
Thanks for the information, and the interesting story.
