Now there is an interesting idea. It would not surprise me to learn that
some manufacturers do not formulate an ink jet ink, but rather, use some
materials that were not developed for this type of printer. I would guess
that this might work as long as the particle is small enough to pass the
orifices. Perhaps we are all buying replacement cartridges and refill kits
filed with Higgin's Ink.
I do know one person who uses an Ink-Jet printer with cartridges filled
with food color to make transfers for her cake decorating. So perhaps the
ink jet printer will become more useful as people develop new ideas for it.
