PhotoWork vs Camera and Darkroom

PhotoWork had one issue and collapsed from its own weight of grandiosity
and poor planning. Camera and Darkroom, on the other hand, was a
magnificent publication for many years. Larry Flynt, the well known
pornographer, lost interest in it and stopped publication. I had the honor
(is this the word?) of publishing a portfolio of gumoil work in the next to
last issue. At least Larry Flynt paid his writers/photographers, something
that PhotoWork failed to do.
