Your sentiments are well taken, but some of us believe the list has been
damaged and are looking for ways to fix it. Ignoring the problem won't make
it go away.
By pointing out what I thought was an inherent unfairness in punishing
Terry for something that occured out of sight and unknown to us little guys
here on the list, I was *challenged* to leave and start my own list -- and
with Terry no less.
If Terry had said this to Luis he would have immediately been asked to make
a public apology for such rudeness and arrogance. I would never ask anyone
to leave the list because I disagree with them. And I have never been rude
in that manner to anyone. Why Luis should suddenly take it on himself to be
the arbiter of all good and bad on the list is beyond me.
I do not ask Luis for an apology, none is needed. I am a big boy and I just
let these things slide. I think we do need to let reason prevail and not go
around promising "blood baths." Those that do, should accept the
responsibility for them when they happen.
