When I first started gum printing I was working at college and we had
this wonderful lightbox, with vacuum and everything. When I left college
I used to thick pieces of glass and just sunlight. Printing the same
images using sunlight produced greater contrast and more intense colour
(contrast again I expect). And no uneveness. Of course using sunlight can
be a pain. But I've found I can print under any wheather, except when it
rains.
