That is a fair description, but I would also consider that since many of
the techniques discussed on the list these days have been with us from the
early days of photography, are they really an ALT process? For example,
there is discussion about Dye Transfer, Carbo, Carbon, etc. The more I
think about it the more I start to believe that these are not true
alternative processes.
