Relative stability of inkjet v dye-sub prints

OK, you've got me there; inkjet prints are measured in days and dye-sub
in weeks. To me it's not a whole heck of a lot of difference. All I know
for sure is I had a dye-sub print that faded to insignificance in a
matter of a few weeks in not direct sunlight but diffuse daylight.

I wish I'd known that the Alps printer was pigment-based when I decided
to switch from my dye-sub last summer. I bought an Epson Stylus Photo
printer instead. Thanks for info.
