Since I am preparing an article for the next issue, I do have chances of
communicating with Judy and have some "insider's information." I think that we
are going to have an article on reversal processing on APHS or APH film. There
might even be an article with tests on APH and PMK. Judy herself will write
about handling the film (I hope she will write about the special agitation
method also).

As for my own article(s), they will deal with the physical as well as the
tonal characteristic of APHS film. After that (don't know if I can make it for
the next issue since there seems to be so many things to take care of in
life), I am planning on doing examples with gum and specifically dealing with
the curves of the lith films.

My articles will be sensitometry related. Originally I thought it might be too
technical and boring, and not everybody is using a densitometer in preparing
their negative or print; but now I am thinking of getting and using an Ilford
exposure meter (list price is only less than $40?) and use it as a precise
control for the preparation of negatives. I think that is much more applicable
to general, and you can always use the exposure meter even for your regular
silver printing.

Have a nice weekend, all!

Dave :)

PS: The "insider information" are based on casual, informal email
communication. I do know and cannot guarantee exactly what are going to appear
in the Journal of Post-Factory Photography.
