Dear List,

I forward this message from John Barnier who has evidently been
temporarily amputated by the list serve, which is having midsummer
madness, sending us instead repeats of last month's messages -- not that
the Chakalis wasn't witty, of course, but it does increase one's sense of
disorientation...

Meanwhile, John, I've been about to ask the very question you offer to
answer... for some details of the gold and selenium toning... for instance
long ago I tried selenium toning VDB , using the T55, which worked (Kodak
didn't), but only either before or after fixing (memory fails me as to
which it was), not both....

If listserv doesn't relent promptly, I'm happy to forward again...

Judy

Sam,

I've been doing tests gold toning argyrotypes (also selenium). I'll pass
on any formulas you'd like, just let me know.

Also, I'm not getting on the list for some reason, so maybe you could CC
this to the list for me in case anyone else might be interested.

Many thanks,

John
