OK, I finally got myself a Windows machine (in addition to my trusty UNIX box)
and I've been thinking about buying an ink-jet printer-- to print out the odd
piece of info that I absolutely need in analog form, but mainly to make negs for
gum.
Is there any consensus on which printers work well for making transparencies
acceptable for use with gum? I'm willing to spend around $500 or so. I know
that with the proper calibration and care one can probably get a decent printer
to make great transparencies, but that aside (humor me here) - what would *you*
buy if you were in the market?
Much thanks (as always),
Adam
