Hello once again,
Still getting my feet on the ground - alt photos and all. I am considering
buy a film scanner and find some confusion over comments made on the list.
Am I to understand that some of you are using a reflective scanner to copy
some negatives? In which case, where does this application fit in the
scheme of things?
The choice of a film scanner seems to have narrowed down to the Nikon LS4500
which does up to 4X5 film only and the Agfa Duoscan which can do 8X10
film/reflective. The Agfa is just about half the cost of the Nikon. I
would appreciate any thoughts about these units or any others you might
recommend.
