Yes, there has been some disagreement, so allow me to correct a little: what I
have said about alum hardening should be considered more or less what has been
discussed earlier and mentioned recently. It should not be considered absolute
truth since it is difficult (if possible at all) to completely prove or
disprove the long-term effect of alum.
