if you want images of heat, i imagine there are digital technologies. in a
past life of mine we used to find wiring troubles using an imaging system of
some sort--not as already said with IR film. back then it would have been
an analog system. if you are interested in IR film then this is no help.
If you are interested in heat, i think you might find some experts on this
in the yellow pages--not your electrical home repair but trouble shooting
types for industrial electrical applications. perhaps call the maintenance
dept. of that local nuke or coal pollutiing plant--just look for the cooling
towers.
