Reversal process -a speculation

We can all make well graded negs, it should be possible to make another
directly from them to requirements using Agfa/Gevart N31 or possibly
Arisatone processed to slide quality.

There are only 4 control points:
1. The gradation of the original neg.
2. The choice of first developer
3. The developer time
4. The quantity of hypo used in the first developer.
It may be desirable to use less than the optimal quanity of hypo needed to
clear the highlights.
A typical enalrging neg with a gamma of 0.6 may be quite suitable as the
films are relatively contrasty and the contrast will be boosted by the
reversal. A further known boost is possible by sulphide toning.

Would like to hear from an one giving it a go
