A friend of mine just updated a list of papers and manufacturers. Also
included were small manufacturers that make paper on a small scale, but do
so consistently, and foreign manufacturers, and makers of specialty papers,
card stocks and so forth. The list now contains makers of plastics, and
other stocks used to print various things on such as negatives, overheads,
costed and uncoated. It is a list of over 18,000 materials.
My question is this: How do most of you select a paper. What criteria do
you think is important? After all, there are many to choose from.
