If you can get to the archives, you will find the proceedure for what I call
Seigel toning which is a tanic acid type toner that produces split tones in
lavender and brown. You will also find mention of 5% lead acetate which will
convert the prussian blue to a cobalt blue. It is, however, dangerous in that
the lead acetate can be absorbed through the skin. "Keepers of Light" mentions
this toner.
