If I read correctly we've had two versions at least of "image size," and
whichever you choose the reader might still not know (or they might "know"
wrong).

So let me suggest that what I've often seen makes sense, something like
"size including brush strokes =.....", or "size of entire sheet =......",
or "size of negative = ..........", or some other version. Having been
told the size of the actual negative, no matter how much folderol is
added, one can still get the gist of it...
