Awesome is the word. Last time I heard, the top of the line LightJet (the
5000) was somewhere in the neighborhood of $200,000. Definitely service
bureau stuff. It operates at film resolution (5000 dpi) and can expose a
variety of photographic films and paper. I was interested in using it for
high res, enlarged internegatives but haven't got around to trying it yet.
Maybe someone has experience using it this way.
