I never thought of that- not too easy with roll film though!! Could it
possibly affect the colour balance of the film (if you also wanted
commercially usable colour trans.)? Older gray cards change in colour and
density as well as getting dirty very easily and would the grey card have
to be exposed under exactly the same light as the final exposure? This
could be tricky when using 35mm film and not wanting to use an entire roll
for 1 or 2 shots.
