I can assure the List that there would be no Bostick & Sullivan today if I
had not gotten my Chemcraft Deluxe chemistry set for Christmas 1951. That
was the big one that came in a blue metal box that unfolded in the middle
with two hinged front panels to form sort of a console. It had enough stuff
in it to give any modern day product liability insurance agent apoplectic
fits.
I am 59 and still kicking.
I do recall having either acquired or made some ethyl ether and having a
sniff party in the garage with the neighbor kids so it wasn't all that
innocent.
