I am saving up these snippets of info and will put them onto my website.
Anyone else with alternative chemical sources feel free to email me direct.
I have quite a lot already from making printmakers and painters supplies.

Pricing and grades are interesting too. For most uses AR reagent grade is
not needed and the commercial grades are of adequate purity and many
may be more pure than was readily available in the past. Pricing is little
guide
to quality as commercial grades are often relatively inexpensive and their
selling price is a marketing matter. Products are frequently priced up
irrespective of cost as buyers don't feel they are of proper quality
otherwise.
