I believe, though I am not positive, that E-6 fixer is very similar to B+W
fixer. Do a clip test - take a clip off your roll (just an inch of the
leader, nothing with an image on it, and put it in the fixer. If it clears
in 3 minutes, it will work, and you need to fix for 6 minutes (doubt the
time to clear). If it does nothing, then it will not work.
