Hello!
I built a 24x36" frame. Good contact is hard over the whole area of the negative. I like the idea of the frame sold by Silverprint (discussed in previous posts)
>From the description:
"After assembly of negative and print material, and placing below the glass, the assembly is clipped at the corners, and a small degree of pressure built below it by pumping air into the rubber apron at the base. This produces good contact in the central area, that would be otherwise outside the radius of the clips"
I'd like to make a rubber "apron" as described for this. Any advice where I can buy one? Would this have to be custom made?
How much pressure is needed? I think I can rig a pump and a pressure gauge.
Thanks
Mac
