Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions. I only need small volumes at a time and should
have thought of boiling myself, but it's so much easier to ask the list!
A further question to save me the trouble of finding out for myself: If we
can get rid of the chlorine in tap water, would that make it safe for
making up gold or silver nitrate solutions? If no-one knows, I'll
endeavour to find out, and report back in due course.
