Kallitypes

Hi:

I've just received in the mail my first kit from Photographers
Formularie to make Kallitypes. My first venture into alternative
processes. Exiting.... -:))

I would like to ask the group a couple of questions:

1. Can I (should I) mix all the sensitizer chemistry in one shot? This
seems to me the best way to go to ensure that the proportions are
constant.

2-a. Once mixed, how long can I keep the sensitizer in a light tight
container? Is it a matter of hours, days, weeks or can it be kept for
longer before beeing coated on the paper?

2-b. If I coat all the sensitizer on the 30 or so sheets of paper, how
long can the paper be kept before exposure?

I plan to take three weeks holidays in July driving along the
St-Lawrence river towards the peninsula of Gaspesia (Québec) and want to
be able to make Kallitypes as I go along. Of course, I will do some
tests initially here in Montréal, but in order to plan for the trip, any
help in answering these questions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and best wishes,

Guy Glorieux
