An idea that I have never tried but might be interesting. Have you
considered bleaching the print, toning it in gold toner and then fixing it.
PLEASE NOTE: I have never tried this and it may be a total flop! But it
might stabilize a small amount of silver before the fixer dissolves away the
remaining silver compounds keeping the print very light.
This idea may well (and rightly) be shredded by
those more experienced in this sort of thing...but worth a try. The worst
you could say would be, "Darn, that didn't work!" Or you might discover an
effect you like. Always try things like this with a throw away print.
