John Dugdale's cyanotypes are at Wessel O'Connor Gallery, 242 West 26 St,
until Jan 9. Anyone who can manage to get to see them should. John's
photographs have always been special, but after several years of cyanotype
he's gotten an unprecedented lusciousness out of that medium. Just plain
old A&B cyanotype, and incredible.
Then there's the Photographica Fair, Sunday, Dec. 5, at the ATT Building,
32 Ave of Americans (Between Walker & Lispinard Sts), 10 AM to 3 PM,
admission $6, early admission at 8:30 AM for $30 ! For info Sal Mule
718/386-9627.
This event is much diminished from days of yore -- more competition on
all levels I suppose. But still worth a visit for: used cameras, lenses,
post cards, ephemera, old prints, photo tchochkes, etc.
