Cyanotype Problem

When attempting to coat sized paper with Ware cyanotype, I am puzzled that
the solution seems to be reacting almost immediately upon hitting the paper,
turning green and essentially becoming fogged.

I'm using Rives BFK, sized with Knox gelatin and hardened with Glyoxal. I
have no problems with non-sized BFK, but as I am intending to overprint with
gum, the paper needs to be sized. Any ideas as to what's going on?
