EDTA & SULFITE CLEARING BATH

DEAR FOLKS,
Forgive me but it seems a long way around to give formulae for clearing
baths (or any formulae for that matter) in terms of percentages. Most
formulae for photographic chemistry that I have seen (in 1963 I began by
reading my dad's Pre WW II photo books) from any source (Kodak books,
Photolab index, RIT literature) are listed as grams per liter or
grains/ounces per quart.
I feel there are many on the list, like myself, who would benefit from a
simple formula for the EDTA(Na4) and sodium sulfite clearing bath in the
following format:

WATER (at what temp?) 500 ML
    EDTA (Na4) XXg
    Na2 SO3 XXg

    BRING VOLUME TO 1 LITER

This is an industry standard that all on the list, regardless of
language, can follow and keeps lazy ol' me from having to run to my
calculator (which seems to develop legs and walk out of the darkroom just
before I need it!). Scaling up to 2L or 4L is the least of our troubles.
If you like, you can do a separate column in English system as the Photolab
Index often does. This is a case where more is more!
Forgive me if I presume but I feel there are many others besides me who
would appreciate this.
Thank you for your help...I am DYING to see this formula!
                                                    CHEERS!
