Yes, you can soak the board/print sandwich in a tray (metal, not plastic
because the latter will turn into bubble gum) of acetone. Naturally, you
should observe the "away from open flame" warnings :-O Working outdoors
is the best bet by far.
Trim off excess surrounding board before immersing in the acetone. Use
chemical resistant gloves to slosh the acetone over the surface. Give it
5-10 minutes and the print should lift from the board. The residual
acetone in the print will evaporate quickly. You can then remount or do
whatever you'd like with the print.
The good news is that acetone is photographically inert (and no, I can't
promise this is so for EVERY photo print process on the planet) so
nothing bad remains in the paper.
